The N’Dama Grande is a larger, slightly taller variety of the N’Dama and is usually lighter in color than the Guinean N’Dama.
The N’Dama Grande found in Senegal is also known by the transboundary/brand English name of Gambian N’Dama.
The N’Dama Grande adapts well to water scarcity during the dry season from November to June.
