Here is our first victim – er – wonderful and gracious subject patiently answering our questions.
Children's book author Ian Lendler came to Santa Rita Elementary again on November 12, 2014 and gave a presentation to grades 4-6 about his latest book:
The Stratford Zoo Midnight Revue Presents Macbeth

Afterwards, he was grilled by the Kranky Kids Radio Club in an attempt to make him divulge such secrets as “Seriously, what's with all the ketchup?” and eighteen other other riveting queries.
The week before he arrived, the radio club talked about how our interview would be conducted – where the mic would be placed, where each student would sit while asking, where Mr. Lendler would be seated – stuff like that. Each student was to come ready with their own individual question and, if we had time, additional questions could be asked.
The first question was about his previous children's book:
An Undone Fairy Tale

1
Question: “What inspired you to write An Undone Fairy Tale? What gave you the idea of something incomplete?”
The following eighteen questions are about his take on Macbeth as a graphic children's book. You can listen to the entire interview here:
