The Quinhentão was a red coated azebuado population developed on the farms of Martinico Prado around 1870 using:

(Ongole × Friesian) × Franqueiro

Azebuado is a Brazilian term for intermediate crossbred cattle using zebu and European/Criollo cattle.

(Portuguese) crioulo = criollo (Spanish)
