The Malabar was a Curraleiro × Indian zebu cross developed in the 19th century and raised for meat.
Malabar coat colors included:
• multicolored (black, red, brown)
• unicolored (red-brown to black)
The Malabar was found in northeastern Brazil and is now listed as extinct in the DAD-IS database.
