Mason (Encyclopedia 2016; Dictionary 2020) lists the Dominican Criollo as being the English name for the Criollo Lechero Dominicano.

The Dominican Criollo’s description of origin says it is a variety of Tropical Dairy Criollo. The Criollo Lechero Dominicano has no description of origin, just a location within country: research center (CIMPA) in the province of Santiago.
