Wuling

The Wuling, a draught breed primarily, is found in northwest Hunan, southwest Hubei and northeast Guizhou provinces. Officially, it is named after the city of Wuling in northeastern Henan province.

In 2009, a government-funded conservation project for the Wuling was announced.

Wuling varieties include:
• Enshi
• Sinan
• Xiangxi

Wuling are described as:
• yellow (usually)
• black (sometimes)
• other colors (sometimes)
• small hump in bulls
• inconspicuous hump in cows
