Ringamålako
(most common name)
(local/other name):
• Ringamåla
The Ringamålako strongly resembles Swedish Red-and-White cattle of the 1940s and is considered to be an important living gene bank for the SRB breed. A herdbook was established in 1993.
The Ringamålako can be found in the southern part of Sweden. Because the breed is primarily preserved out of cultural interest as a genetic savings and security, milk and meat production are not recorded.
