The Rhaetian Grey is the smallest variety of Alpine Grey cattle found in Switzerland.

The Rhaetian Grey used to be kept in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. They were displaced from the 1920s onwards by crossing with Swiss Brown. However, Rhaetian Grey type cattle persisted in nearby districts of Austria. Rhaetian Grey were restored to their original range in 1985.

As of 2020, the Rhaetian Grey population was reported to be 15,070.
