The Red and White is a name officially started in 1964 by the Red and White Dairy Cattle Association (RWDCA). It is not a new breed; it is a designation for bloodlines of the Red Holstein.
The Red and White has the same excellent udder as the Holstein and, though milk production is almost the same, the fat/protein content ratio of the Red and White tends to be better.
