The Ocampo was a dairy breed developed in the 1940s and 1950s on the Ocampo estate using:

Friesian × (Ongole × local Criollo)

In 1970s, the Ocampo was graded to American Brown Swiss.

The Ocampo was found in Venezuela and is now listed as extinct in the DAD-IS database.
