The Menggu is a Turano-Mongolian breed.
The Menggu — found in the province of Inner Mongolia in China — is an authentic indigenous breed that is identical to the original cattle of Mongolia.
Turano-Mongolian, in reference to cattle, refers to a distinctive skull formation that includes:
• a wedge-shaped skull
• a depression on the frontal bone
• a narrow crown
• horns growing straight-up
