The Kazakh Whiteheaded originated with the crossing of Hereford bulls and Kazakh cows (Hereford × Kazakh). The bulls were imported from England and Uruguay from 1928–1932.
The Kazakh Whiteheaded was formally recognized as breed in 1950.
