Goomsur -ox- India

Goomsur
(most common name)

(local/other name):
• Ghumusar

The Goomsur is an authentic variety of the small to diminutive zebu cattle found in the western part of Ganjam district (also adjoining areas of Phulbani district of Orissa, and extending into Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh state).

The Goomsur is small and shorthorned, with a coat ranging from white to grey.

Despite being so small, they are usually used for work pulling carts.
