The Ganado Criollo Argentino coat color is highly variable, ranging from white to black, with spots or stripes. Different hues of brown are also observed. Unlike most other Criollo cattle, their tail switch is long.
The Ganado Criollo Argentino is used in first service (initial sexual intercourse) in heifers of beef breeds (Angus and Hereford) at 15 months of age for extremely easy calving.
