Artist Paul Charles Pollaro builds beautiful large abstract paintings using tar, paint and linen. In this short documentary, cinematographer and director Flynn Donovan gives the viewer a window into Pollaro’s creative process while also evoking the inherent ephemeralness of art and life’s experiences.

We all make things, and for many the journey in making something is often just as important as the thing that’s being made.

(This film is included in our collection because Flynn has helped with some Kranky Kids projects and because Lishka edited it. It's also a good little documentary.)
