Basic Story:

1. The Xilians of Planet X (a fictional planet that sits behind Jupiter) are being terrorized by Monster Zero (aka Ghidorah, King Ghidorah).
   
2. The Xilians offer Earth a cure-everything wonder drug (in a box) in exchange for Earth sending Godzilla and Rodan to fight Monster Zero.
   
3. Earth agrees to the plan.
   
4. Godzilla and Rodan then fight Ghidorah and drive him away.
   
5. Wonder-Drug-In-A-Box is really a taped ultimatum for Earth to surrender to Planet X.
   
6. The Xilians claim they can control all three monsters (with magnetic waves) and then release them on Earth.
   
7. The three monsters start rampaging.
   
8. One character, coincidentally, has developed a personal alarm for women to use for protection while traveling alone.
9. The sound of this alarm disrupts Xilians.
   
10. This sound is broadcast all over the world.
    
11. The Xilians leave.
    
12. Godzilla and Rodan then fight Ghidorah again, and drive him away.
    
13. Earth attempts peaceful relations with Planet X.

Basic Story:

1. By 1999, all monsters have been caught and placed on an island called Monsterland.
   
2. Communications to the island are suddenly stopped by aliens called Kilaaks.
   
3. The Kilaaks then send the monsters out from Monsterland to destroy different cities: Godzilla to NYC, Rodan to Moscow, Mothra to Beijing, and Gorosaurus to Paris, etc.
   
4. The Kilaaks monster-controlling facility - which is on the moon - is destroyed by the UN.
   
5. The Kilaaks then release King Ghidorah.
   
6. Godzilla and the others (including Kumonga) defeat Ghidorah and then return to Monsterland.

1972 - Godzilla on Monster Island

Basic Story:

1. From the planet Nebula M, giant cockroach-like aliens arrive on Earth and then inhabit bodies of recently demised humans who then work at a theme park in Switzerland while plotting to take over the world.
   
2. A tape, meant to call Ghidorah and Gigan to Earth is played, but it awakens Godzilla and Anguirus instead.
   
3. Everyone is confused.
   
4. The four monsters eventually fight.
   
5. Godzilla and Anguirus drive Gigan and Ghidorah back into space, thus saving Earth.

1991 - Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah

Basic Story:

1. 23rd century time-travelers (Futurians) release genetically engineered creatures (Dorats) that become irradiated and fuse with Ghidorah.
   
2. Ghidorah then marauds 1992 Japan.
   
3. A reincarnated-new-and-improved Godzilla fights Ghidorah.
   
4. Ghidorah falls into the ocean and remains comatose for hundreds of years.
   
5. Ghidorah is recovered and made into a cyborg called Mecha-King Ghidorah.
   
6. Godzilla and Mecha-King Ghidorah fight and both fall into the ocean.
