Basic Story:
- By 1999, all monsters have been caught and placed on an island called Monsterland.
- Communications to the island are suddenly stopped by aliens called Kilaaks.
- The Kilaaks then send the monsters out from Monsterland to destroy different cities: Godzilla to NYC, Rodan to Moscow, Mothra to Beijing, and Gorosaurus to Paris, etc.
- The Kilaaks monster-controlling facility - which is on the moon - is destroyed by the UN.
- The Kilaaks then release King Ghidorah.
- Godzilla and the others (including Kumonga) defeat Ghidorah and then return to Monsterland.
