The Westphalian Red (aka Sauerland, Siegerland; Siegerländer and Westfälisches Rotvieh in German) is a variety of the German Red.

It was originally based on the indigenous red breeds and varieties of Westphalia and Hessen in Germany. The current Westphalian Red is very similar to the Angeln.
