The Béarnais (aka La race Béarnaise, Basco-Béarnaise, Blonde des Pyrénées, and La race des Pyrénées-Occidentales in French) has large, wide lyre-shaped horns. The Béarnais is an ancient strain of the Pyrenean Blond (Blonde des Pyrénées in French) that was not absorbed by the Blonde d'Aquitaine. See the other breeds of: |
